Das Instrument wurde am 27.12.1904 an Herrn Franz Schmidt in Baden bei Wien erstausgeliefert. Es hat 6 Spiele, 2 Manuale, Percussion, Prolongement Automat. Das Gehäuse ist in Esche poliert gefertigt. Ein unleserlicher Zusatzt könnte heißen: laut intoniert.
Es handelt sich definitif nicht um den Orgelkomponisten Franz Schmidt, da dieser zu dieser Zeit direkt in Wien wohnte. Besonders interessant ist das englische Firmenschild. Es gibt ein weiteres Instrument dieser Art, was für eine Ausstellung in England gefertigt wurde. Ob dieses Instrument ebenfalls für eine Ausstellung gedacht war, kann nicht ermittelt werden. Besonder schön sind die edlen Intarsienarbeiten.

The instrument was first delivered to Mr. Franz Schmidt in Baden near Vienna on 27.12.1904. It has 6 voices, 2 manuals, percussion, Prolongement Automat. The housing is made of polished ash.An illegible addition could read: "loud intonation".
It is definitely not the organ composer Franz Schmidt, as he lived directly in Vienna at that time. The English company nameplate is particularly interesting. There is another instrument of this kind which was made for an exhibition in England. Whether this instrument was also intended for an exhibition cannot be determined. The fine inlay work is particularly beautiful.

The instrument is owned by Mr. Simon Buser in Marburg.
